Start them Young

After our wonderful success at Chipping Show with more trophies and cups (grrr, more to polish!), we moved on to one of the few food festivals that we attend at Barton Grange Garden Centre, Brock where they held their annual food and drink festival. This year had a change in that it was held over a Friday and Saturday rather than a Saturday and Sunday. This weekend clashed with our year end and resulted in staffing issues for our stand. However into the breach jumped young Master Thomas Sandham. What a sterling effort by our youngest team member who busied himself with sampling cheese to the public and smiling at the right moments. It was noted that he spent an incredible amount of time at the pork pie stand next door though. Nontheless he was worth his weight and was duly paid in the form of a trip to his favourite fast food takeaway. Don’t ever let it be said that I don’t know how to push the boat out. Anyway, do we think that this may the the emergence of a fourth generation of Sandham cheese makers?
